Same here. Sounds like a belt got stuck or something. According to a bunch of aviation sites, the next UPS flight from Shanghai is this evening. :D

Got that update too. I don't think they fixed it that quick though, it went through the export scan out of Shanghai almost 14 hours ago and no movement!
 
Mine was stalled due to mechanical failure, but now it says that it cleared customs. I hope someone is here on Monday to sign for it, i don't wanna miss it

Add one more user to the UPS delay. I too was scheduled to pick up my watch at the UPS Facility on Monday.

I can't see my updated tracking info. Where is everyone's destination city? Mine is San Diego, CA.

Same here on the notice delay. Looks like our plane broke down in Shanghai.
Got departure scan 20 minutes ago and flight just left Shanghai. However my UPS tracking now says delivery information not presently available, check back later. So whether we are all still on for Monday remains to be seen. Just our luck. Well what's one more day among friends....if that is the case.
 
Mechanical failure here too... followed up with departure scan as of 5:40AM Shanghai time... interested to see updated delivery estimate.

I've been trying to figure out how to use the http://flightaware.com/live/fleet/UPS But can't find any UPS planes out of shanghai around the time of departure scan... maybe I just don't know what I'm doing. Anyone have any insight?

You've got the right link. Look at UPS81. It is there. Left Shanghai short while ago.

Same here. Departure scan at of 5:40AM Shanghai time. Still no updated delivery time. Hopefully, it will be here on Monday. :)

Thank you! You are totally right. UPS states it should arrive Tuesday June 2nd and Apple states it should arrive June 3rd. Let's hope it gets here on the 1st then lol :-D
 
weird. my watch is in Ontario already shipping to Fresno for Monday delivery, but when I read about the China plane delays I checked my status (super paranoid haha) and now my schedule delivery info is "unavailable". like I said I'm being super paranoid and it's completely unrelated, but that's only cuz I've freaking waited two months for this thing...

I have the same status. UPS used to show Monday delivery for me - now it says delivery information is not available.

Nice, that must be it... Based on my very rough calculations and this flights history it looks like they should be in Louisville around 10 or 11AM EST tomorrow. That seems like a reasonable amount of time to get things moving for Monday deliveries, right?:confused:
 
My watch will sit in the ups office from 4 A on SaturdY 8 A on Monday >>> delay of 52 hours >>> if Apple had spent 12 $ more would have got it in Saturday !!!
Maybe they should have given me the option to have a faster shipping method ?????

I pre-ordered my :apple:Watch within 3 min when the online store was opened. Waited for almost 2 months, and on shipped date UPS has "mechanical failure". What a way to go! I think this is my worst Apple's order ever. Never run into things like this before.... :D

My :apple: Watch that should be delivered on Monday just had a little shipping issue according to UPS "A mechanical failure has delayed delivery. We're adjusting plans to deliver your package as quickly as possible." My luck....

So for now the delivery date is unknown and it's in a plane on the way to US because it says "Departure Scan" Shanghai but I don't think it arrives on Monday, probably Tuesday.

The flight UPS81 just arrived at Anchorage Airport, I see that UPS81 aircraft goes from Anchorage to Louisville soon, in 2h. Is it the same flight with our Watches on?

That's an affirmative. I have an ATC friend in Anchorage; he says they're in for a refuel and a new crew and will be out as soon as possible.
