It looks like everyone who preordered a 42mm Stainless Steel Apple Watch with White Sport Band who saw their order status change to "Preparing for Shipment" has had their status reversed back to "Processing Items." Has anyone who ordered this model NOT have it change back to "Processing Items?"

I don't get it then. I have no idea why a bunch of us have had our statuses reversed.

Mine's 42mm as well. I wouldn't stress too much over the status changes. It's probably just some internal thing that we wouldn't even notice if people weren't obsessively checking their order statuses.

From what I've seen, the 42 SS WB models have reverted to "Processing" only in the Northeast US. My guess is that this is all about shipping times...I would be surprised if they don't revert back to "Preparing for Shipment" today or tomorrow.

I ordered this watch in 42 mm and got my confirm email at 3:03 Eastern Time. Yesterday around 5 a pending charge for full amount was applied to my card and the status changed. Then, around 8 I noticed it had changed back to processing, where it remains. The pending charge maintains on my card, as to be expected. No clue what to make of this, but seeing people say they didn't revert has me kind of worried.

Now I'm wondering if it was just 42 mm folks who got reverted and not 38 mm folks, which I think would be good news for us 42 crew.

EDIT to say, I am in Ohio, so that lines up with Jstiner's theory that this is only happening in our warehouse.

I called Apple, and they swore that this is not an issue and that it won't cause any shipping delays. I hope they're right...

Mine is still "preparing for shipment". 42mm.

Where do you live?

I don't put much stock into anything the Apple Support Staff has to say. Nice, hard working people I'm sure, but I think think they know any more than we do about this stuff. Different answers fly around from each different support member.

Here's to hoping!

Mine is listed as processing. I did place the order Sunday, so had it going to preparing for shipment I might've lost my mind.

Mine is a uk order, its still listed as processing but Apple took the money from my credit card today

Mine just changed BACK to "preparing to ship"...WOOT!

Great news! Mine did, too! It seems to have coincided with UPS planes arriving in Alaska. Link here: http://flightaware.com/live/iphone

Keep an eye on it, our watches should be flying from Alaska to Kentucky today (in about an hour or two they will take off) and arrive around 12-2 am EDT. After then we should be getting tracking info, like everybody from yesterday's mini-wave has!

Has everyone affected been updated to preparing again?:D

For what it's worth, I'm in Florida and I have two 42MM SS with white sport bands on order. I was charged last night and they changed to "preparing for shipment" shortly after the charge and haven't changed back. I've even found the tracking numbers on UPS's site.
