Is it a problem if the liquid polish on these cloths contacts the watch's screen? If so, how do you avoid that?
I've never had any issues with the oil getting on the screen, doesn't seem to affect it.

I am challenging myself to keep my new 44 SS scratch-free (even from micro-scratches). I'm pretty good at not banging my watches on to surfaces and I'll see where this goes.
As I have learned from the 2 days I've been wearing and cleaning mine, the surface is not prone to scratching very easily as I suspected. I've worn the watch with all sorts of jackets with different material, cleaned it gently with a microfibre cloth several times and I still do not see any micro-scratches even under heavy lighting like the iPhone X flash light or under the sun.
I've always wondered if the stainless steel Apple is using this time is tougher. Although not a mention in their own description of the watch, I'm starting to believe it's a more durable material than the ones before it.
Is there a thin outer layer on it that'll eventually go and reveal the actual SS inside or not? Only time will tell and I will update my findings.

Took me less than 6 days to get my first abrasion. Don’t know how I got it but no worries.... it buffed right out with the cape cod cloth. No way you can stay scuff free.
