:(

I'd rather not talk about it too much. But all I can say is, it was in a case. And it survived.. sort of. The top case is bent a little bit, and the slot cd driver is squished. I can't fit in a CD. Everything else works fine so far.

I hope its okay to be using it, and to still leave it on 24/7.

I'll take pictures tomorrow.

EDIT: pictures on page 2.

Paypal donations are welcome ;) JHNguyen89@gmail.com

Sorry bro. It's good to hear it still works. I can't wait to see the pictures.

If you are daring, you could probably take the keyboard cover off the MBP and bend the keyboard case a little since I'd assume the keyboard cover area is slightly bent. In addition then you can bend the top portion of the DVD drive cover. Assuming the DVD drive itself works, you should be able to insert a DVD/CD in at this point.

A lot of ifs though. Some pictures would help.

Wow.. thats crazy. I kinda want to know what happened. Sorry tho. Thats good that your MBP still works. And yes!! please do tell what kind of case you got!!

Thats insane, I can't believe it still works !

i'll wanna see photos, to see just how much damage the mbp can take, but at the same time i feel guilty for saying so.

hey at least it still works. most laptops would not.

you know i had a dream about this the other night...needless to say i woke up in a cold sweat

Oh and a reminder that you should probably back everything up asap...you never know when a runover computer is gonna crap out..

man that sucks. you should get apple care if your 1yr is up, and just return it and get a new one!!!!! beat the system

oh man! So sorry to hear that. IT's amazing that it survived the run-over. really must show the pic...

1) Super-sorry, that really sucks
2) I hope it was a Core Duo
3) Pics please
4) It seems to have survived better than expected... what case did you have?

Hope everything works out.

You actually believe they will replace a computer that's been run over by a car? I think "the system" has beaten you.

This makes my mind up - I am going NOW to buy a 500gb external HD and back up a mirror image on my MacBook...

No wonder people recommend Applecare, they don't know what it really does.. Jobs thanks you..

I prefer to buy from Apple, especially because I almost always BTO, but Best Buy's warranty is far superior and would cover accidental damage (even if it's your fault). That's just for future reference for anyone on here who know's that they're clumsy or accident prone. That's my recommendation.
