I can say the same as well.Same. I've resorted to using the "New Posts" button next to it, instead.
When the pointer hovers over a link, stop scrolling.
I Admin a few boards, I don't believe that is possible.
we had this working in one of the test versions. it was done as a what if... but felt wrong as I recall.
I'll see if we can revisit it.

Can't you call up a javascript clientside with onMouseOver that disconnects forums spy from the server?
Never liked forum spy for that very reason, everything moved to fast for me. I loves me some New Posts though.
