just made up a bracket group over at yahoo sports for us at macrumors to fill in for march madness.

don't forget, wait until after the selection show to fill in the brackets.
 
I'm in with very few upsets as usual, and therefore will not do well in the guessing game.
UNC over UCLA 72-69 in the final game.
UNC over Kansas and UCLA over Memphis (all number one seeds, you know that won't happen).
 
If Washington State plays like they played in the Pac-10 tourny, then they will be playing UNC, which would be great national attention plus a good way to play the best.

Texas will be in the Final Four. UNC over UCLA by 4.
 
Went mostly with top seeds with some exceptions. I see NC winning out as much as hate to see it. They took the championship in 05 against my beloved Fighting Illini!
 
Arizona will upset WVU

Davidson will upset Gonzaga

I am predicting a Kansas St. upset over USC.

By the way, who nominated Gonzaga as America's team?
 
I like Georgia's run to continue a few rounds. I have them beating Xavier. Villanova has a nice shot to go deep and hit the sweet 16. Tennessee and Louisville could each give Carolina some trouble. I pick Georgetown over Texas.

The same WSU that lost to Stanford in the semis? Well, they did play pretty well that game and they won't run up against any bigs as good as the Lopez twins in the first weekend. Winthrop will be a tough out in round one, but I'd like the Cougs against ND in round 2. I think Hansborough would go all Brook Lopez on the Cougs in the round of 16, though.

Stanford's got a fairly reasonable path to the sweet 16, but it would take a miracle for them to slow down DJ Augustin enough to get past Texas. If I picked my brackets now, I'd put Texas through to the Final Four in the South.
 
Since my beloved Terps imploded yet again this year, I find myself grudgingly rooting for ACC stable-mates UNC, and hoping that Duke bombs out before the weekend is done.

I think Clemson is going farther than Duke. I'm a HUGE Carolina fan, and I hate Duke, but I think Duke will go out early. Duke only has one game: perimeter shooting. Shut that down, and they have no choice but to go inside. And that is what they don't have.
 
posted my bracket...instead of trying to win, I chose the teams I wanted to win each game. As you can see by my pick of Arkansas to win the entire East region and go to the Final Four. Stupid, I know, but I'm doing other pools for money where I chose realistically and felt like choosing my team to do well :D
 
Georgia better start losing, I pulled the trigger last minute and put Xavier for the win.
 
I wouldn't be surprised if Georgia pulls it off the way they played in the SEC Tournament.
 
Xavier is shooting terrible. 34% or something. They need to step it up. The game isn't over yet.
