14/16 for my work bracket. I don't think that's going to hold up tomorrow though!
 
Seedings of eliminated schools:
6. USC
8. BYU
9. Kent State
10. Arizona
11. Baylor
11. Kentucky
12. George Mason
12. Temple
13. Oral Roberts
13. Winthrop
14. Cal State Fullerton
14. Cornell
14. Georgia
15. Belmont
16. Mississippi Valley St.
16. Portland State

Average seeding of eliminated schools: 12.125
 
If there are no upsets in a 64-team tournament with 4 brackets seeded 1-16, the expected average seeds of the eliminated teams are:
1st round: 12.5
2nd round: 6.5
regional semi-final: 3.5
regional final: 2.0
national semi-final: 1.0
national final: 1.0​
Since some games turn out to be upsets, the 12.5 1st round average is in fact the maximum possible average, while the national semi-final and final averages are the minimum possible averages! Isn't that more exciting than a last minute full-court drive to a winning basket by Duke? ;)

Boooo Hissss.;):p Stupid Duke. Of course I will take the win as it helps my bracket but that was one where I would not have minded a loss.
 
I did that last year and paid for it. So this year I tried to even it out a bit.

St Mary's is making a comeback. Wonder if it will be enough.
Gonzaga not looking good.
Drake needs to get in gear.
 
Games are looking good right now... I picked TN and looks like Davidson, Miami and W. Kentucky are all ahead with less than 5 minutes to play.

Picked a couple upsets if these games pan out.
 
I originally had davidson over gonzaga, but was stupid and changed it! Darn!
I was glad to see them win, they are only 1 hour away from me. They took UNC to a tight game this year, nearly beat them.
 
The Drake - WKU game has been crazy. Seems like Drake have 1 point guard and 4 guys who shoot 3's.

Oh my, what an ending. That kills my bracket a little.
 
I'm happy W. Kentucky won. I felt they got hosed with that awful charge call at the end of regulation and then that lose ball foul with 6 sec in OT. Who calls a lose ball foul with 6 sec when about 8 people are swatting at the ball? Great ending!
