460 vs 450 battery life

hi, does the 460 draw more power when under load than the 450? Or do they both consume the same amount of power?

Basically what I want to know is does the 460 cause battery life to be lower compared to the 450?

I don't know, but the longest battery life I have gotten out of my 2.9 GHz with 460 card is 3:47, with simple reading and browsing at 40% screen brightness. Unless Apple delivers a magical software upgrade to save this machine, it's going back on Jan 8.

With my 2.9/460 I get more than 10 hours reading and browsing at 50% screen brightness. But I must admit I'm really keen at what is (not) running in the background. Really satisfied with this maxed-out workhorse.

[Edit: Oops did not read the heavy load part, which of course probably decreases battery life significantly]
