48hrs for replacment

    Apple store I went to my phone again defective now they told me to wait for 48hrs so I can go back to get a new phone at the apple store is the 48 hrs true ?
    what can I do the power button is defective.Will apple be able to run a diagnostic again to see the issue
    The lady today told see found issue but can't replace it till 48hrs pass I went at 12:30 pm today than at 7:40 pm

    I'm assuming the 48 hours is until the Genius bar can see you? They set up an appointment for 2 days from now because they were booked?

    They said its store policy and no there appointment for tommorw they won't replace it till wensday

    I got my phone replace since apps keep crash then I came back due to vibrate switch not working then they found out power button not working they told me 48 hrs till I can go back for new replacement

    They have phones in stock they say it's store policy i have to wait 48 hrs till i can get it replace again

    I mean if they said it's policy I don't know that anyone here will be able to help things.

    I hate the policy of they find issue on iPhone they should replace if you already got it replaced same day

    Wait. You got it replaced. And the second unit was defective and you went back to store same day? I'm assuming that's the issue. Can't get two replacement devices the same day.

    Also, the issue seems very obvious, check your next one thoroughly on the spot.

    They didn't give me a chance to check it the apple genius told me to go he had more clients

    Trying to translate, it seems like it is actually working but the tactility is not normal. Basically it doesn't feel right when you push the button. Why not use it for two days and then get it replaced?? Not really sure where the problem is?

    At first they don't mind issue second time I came in then diagnostic issue pop up

    It sounds to me they're just putting you on a cool off period because you're swapping tons of phones in a short amount of time. I've read (here) of people being banned from returning at certain stores due to this exact sort of thing. It sounds like they're willing to help you in 48 hours. Just wait the two days out and get it swapped. Be polite and possibly even apologetic. It generally gets you rather far.

    Getting banned from the Apple store is always a possibility, they do keep track of these things.

    I called applecare the stores do have 48 hrs policy I'm suppose to wait till tommorw

    Strange at first they don't find any issues then at the end they find the issue.

    They should have that writing in the case history to replace the phone.They shouldn't have to run diagnostic again to find issue just saying

    I'm not contesting any of that. There comes a point where a store can refuse service. If you've replaced the phonemic times you're now costing Apple money and they're not in the business of doing that. I'm simply trying to explain a possible reason for your 48 hour "ban".

    Wait, if you get a replacement at an Apple Store, they require 2 days before replacing the replacement if anything is wrong?

    That what the Genius Bar employee told me I'm going tommorw to get it replaced they wrote in case notes

    Got the phone today only thing is the Lightning port seems used it has some spots inside phone works perfect

    Does it mean the phone is used not referbushed

    I say this without trying to sound rude. I honestly think it means you're just overly anal about these things. Apple doesn't sell you used stuff. It's a refurb. Just enjoy it.
