Yes, but with the site serving up pages in a limited bandwidth version. No fancy xml or anything, mainly just text and only showing images in comments, iirc.

e probably knows that, but he's still rather surprised, as am I. There's like 3000 people online right now, and only 250 or so are members, so only 250 of them can try to post. Even with a reduced bandwidth page, it's surprising how many people can fit on this message board. If I remember correctly, there was an upgrade that allowed for far more simultaneous traffic, but I can't remember when that upgrade was made.

^ It was done last year IIRC. There's also additional capacity brought on-board during high profile (and there for high traffic) events like MWSF/WWDC.
