Trinidad and Tobago and the Carrier is Digicel oh it was bought unlock from apple

I try that but keep getting "your Device is incompatible" when i try to take a 4G plan

if I remember right even though the iPhone 5 is a LTE phone the maximum speed it can handle internationally is 3G.
