M mcella macrumors newbie Original poster Jan 18, 2011 #1 Ok so I have a old ipod click wheel. I have come to realize that plugging in the ipod to a power adapter is part of the restore process. I dont have a power adapter. Is there anyway around this.

cherry su macrumors 65816 Jan 20, 2011 #5 i should add that you need a power adapter that supplies 5VDC at 1A. I plugged my 4G iPod into a blackberry charger (5V 0.5A) and it wouldn't budge.
