If Steve Jobs came at you and said "Which would you want me to put on the iPhone 5, 4G or a 4" screen, I will grant your wish." Would you say "I would want 4G" or "A 4" screen please."

I'd prefer a 4" screen

My 3G speed in Dallas is incredible and I can stream video all day long with no problem. So I'd prefer a 4" screen at this point

I don't see much need for either this year.

That will probably change in the future for both of them, but I wouldn't want either yet.

QFT.

I know many disagree, but I think the phone's size is perfect the way it is. Yes, I have seen the mockups that fit a 4" screen on the same size device, but there are 2 issues: 1) Even considering these, the device would still probably increase in size and 2) The "Retina Display" suddenly became less sharp.

4G I don't really care, as I would end up disabling it anyway. It's simply not prevalent enough (doesn't exist in my area) and would probably be a battery hog anyway.

4"

4' as speed is adequte...

space...yea need more space..make a voting pole so you can see the amount of people that have voted..its gona be time consuming to look at everyones answers and to tally.

Don't expect either nor do I really care for either of them.

Wouldn't be too shabby if they removed the home button and made screen to the end, but that's unlikely. Changing resolutions all the time is a right pain.

4G means nothing to me and just feels like something that won't be common place for a while yet.

I don't want a 4 inch screen but if they are going to start charging a premium for 4G data ... I don't want that either.

I did and for some reason Macrumors didn't submit it. I know I did, but there was an error after I posted this.

4'' screen for sure. Biggest drawback of the iPhone is the lack of screensize choices :(

Well the next iPhone going to support HSPA+ and Att calls that 4G so the next iPhone will have 4G.

Even if this wasn't true I would rather have 4G over a 4 inch screen

It's not about size its how you use it ( that what she said).

Still would prefer the extra 0.5" though..

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_2_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8C148a Safari/6533.18.5)

4g on any network but the two currently available in the US.

Considering SJ isn't AT&T, Verizon, etc., and can only provide the iPhone, all he can do is give you a 4" screen. Boom.

Personally, I'm ok with the 3.5" screen.

The next iPhone will most likely be HSPA+. Some call it 4G some say it's not real 4G, I say who gives a damn. It will be a faster data speed than we have now. :D

Given that I live in an area that will certainly not be getting 4G until next year at the earliest, I would be more interested in a 4" screen. If it was a 4" Retina display, I would be drooling all over it!

Regarding 4G, I would rather wait until it is more widely available and works through its growing pains.

I'd probably vote for the 4" screen and possibly a network that doesn't cause me to drop calls left, right, and sideways (3 in <10 mins. just now). But I know SJ doesn't control that, so 4" it is. :)

Actually, the thing I'd love the most would be a 64GB version. I could totally live with the same size screen and 3G if I could have 64 GB.
