I ordered from them, got my order in like 2-3 days. Came in new and worked perfectly on my macboook. I think they are a more west coast based company.

they have stores in the Dallas area. But they constantly sell used broken stuff, and try to pass it off as new.

I lived in Dallas for 10 yrs.. I shopped there numerous times(I think it is on Executive). Everything they sell is new unless it states otherwise. It is easy to tell if a package has been messed with.

I also shopped at the one in Houston. Once again no problems.

Fry's is a large corporation(hell they sponsor a PGA Tour event) and if what you just said is true(which it isn't--it is BS) they would have been put out of business a long time ago.

I wish you wouldn't assume I'm a liar just because my experiences differ from yours.

+1 I've shopped at the one in Atlanta and never had a problem. They frequently have unadvertised deals in store. They only issue I've ever had is long lines and the silly bag check at the exit.

Cheers,

2G is more then enough for most people, 4G is overkill :)

Meh, depends on what your doing. If your running Parallels or Fusion then 4GB is not really overkill. I have the stock 1GB right now and its PAAAAINFUL to run Parallels and try to do anything else. Just got my 4GB kit in today :)

I've shopped at Fry's in LA, Houston, Austin and online never had any problems. Oh, and I just bought a set of the RAM for my iMac.

I ordered this Crucial 4GB of RAM(for the wife's Macbook) and a 4GB flash drive from Fry's 2 days ago and got it today. Fast service. I told my friend about it and he tried to order it today. They are sold out now. I'm sure they will get back on sale soon.
