For the $100 difference, without a doubt I am going for the 8GB. The 4GB version seems silly and a waste to me.

Ya know, something that hasn't been talked about much is ... what is going to be the balance of 4GB and 8GB models.

I hope Apple does the right thing and produce more 8GB models then 4GB at first. Way more people are going for the larger model.

I doubt anyone wants to buy the 4gb, but may have to settle for one if the situation is as it was during the PS3 launch. I remember guys behind me saying that they'd get whatever they could take, even if it was just the 20gb.

damn i guess im the only one. i just dont need 8 gigs. I have a 20gig ipod and a 1 gig ipod shuffle. I just do not need more space for stuff of that sort.

I camped for a PS3 ... no way I was gonna settle for the 20GB. I am very happy I didn't 😀
