4k and 5k iMacs - why not TB Display???

    Why no love for the Thunderbolt Display? It's quite odd for Apple's "professional" display to be so far behind...

    Apple no longer has anything that deserves the label "professional" - so no surprise that their monitors are sub-par.

    no external i/o that supports 5k in a single cable yet. untill every mac for sale in the store has the usb-c/tb3 they will not release the thunderbolt display 2. Apple can't sell a product thats just compatible with just 1 or two of there computers. They can't accept the two cable method on a product made by them.

    @ RoastingPig , it is still no reason to keep it hanging. Lacking thunderbolt 2 , usb 3 , magsafe 2 , outdated webcam and keep it thick like the old imacs

    Probably the new TB display will sport USB 3.1 type C ports.
