The Land of Hope and Glory
I have an old Blu-ray player that is a bit rubbish, so I'm looking for a new one. Here are the features I need:

  • WiFi support
  • Easy to connect to AirPod Pro for audio out (not the TV)
  • 4K Blu-ray drive
  • Dolby Atmos / Dolby Vision support
I want to be able to watch a 4K Blu-ray on my TV whilst listening to the audio on my AirPod Pro. My budget is very flexible if it does everything listed above.

Sony UBP-X800M2 and X1100ES (btw so do X800 and X1000ES) support bluetooth headphones.
But you shall not expect enjoying Atmos sound over that connection.

OP, you might want to break your wants into a dual product purchase: Select ANY Blu Ray player you like and get a dedicated Bluetooth Transmitter to deliver the Air Pods connection.

Option 2: Learn to rip your Blu Rays, use Handbrake to make a version that will work with AppleTV, store them on a drive attached to a Mac, drop them into iTunes/TV app, turn on Home Sharing and then watch them with an AppleTV (which easily connects to AirPods).

Option 3: Learn to rip your Blu Rays, use PLEX app to watch them without the conversion via an AppleTV
