Sod 4K video, most people have no use for it.

Better ISO performance, faster AF. That's what would put the camera in another league.

I don't need 4k video, and I highly doubt you will see it on the iphone 6. Hell, the iphone 6 won't even have a 1080 screen AFAIK!

I would have preferred to se 4K on the original iPhone 6, but I'm glad the 6S got it and we don't have to wait for the 7 or later. It's 30fps without the cinematic image sstabilization, so let's hope it's decent looking without a lot of rolling shutter effect.

Am I the only one who is sorry to see 4K video happen on the iPhone? If history is any example, Apple will not give us the option to reduce the recording quality. That's huge because even with a 64 GB iPhone, I will be constantly limited in storage. This will also increase dependency on the cloud and will force us to purchase more and more cloud storage over time. Most of us do not have a 4K display at home and will see no upside to this. Are there any video camera apps out there that allow the user to select recording quality? I'd love to find something that can interface with Microsoft One Drive.

That said, storage limitations are a huge factor and the fact that 16GB is still the base model alongside 4K video recording is laughable. You can get what..15 seconds of 4K footage on a 16GB phone assuming you have nearly nothing else already on it

Unfortunately don't think this will ever happen. The masses are impressed by gimmicks such as the 12MP camera "upgrade".

I guess I could see why some people are addicted by 4K but since I don't use the camera a lot, not really bothered. Maybe in 4 years when I upgrade again there will be 8K. Then 16K. lol

Glad to see that- thanks. It appears that they will allow us to reduce down to 720p as well on the iPhone 6s. As far as I can tell, that's not currently an option on the iPhone 6, correct?
