4K section / purchased library?

There used to be a “4K” section in movies/tv app under purchased library. It’s been gone on mine for a while and I have some 4K movies in there.

Is it gone for all of you fine people also?

It’s not in the purchased section, it’s under the TV app where you can see library.

I bet you have turned the Apple TV settings to 1080 as the default resolution? By doing this it won’t display the purchased 4K content. Set it back to 4K and the purchases section will return.

btw once you set it to 4K you must restart the ATV before the menu section will return.

That is odd. I tested it over the weekend just to make sure it was still the same in tvOS 12 and it still disappears when set to 1080. Other than that’s I don’t know.

You are so lucky to not have Sports always showing in the menu bar. I wish Apple would give us a way to eliminate sports for those not into sports.
