mother dropped her 4s in toilet 😀 it was working and she never knew it must be turned off if IT WORKS after being in such place 😀

I put it in rice etc.. when connecting phone works is being detected by itunes , I ordered a replacement screen already.

Hopefully it's just a screen who died...

anyone else had similar issue?

There are probably only 200-300 threads on this topic.😛

Good luck...I hope the phone is OK...🙂

Just drain out the water first and check the red colour indicator.. If its nt showing and if its in warranty go to uR nearest apple store and get it replaced as new. I did this thing in my case.

screen works even though you can't see nothing 😀 I was memorizing where numbers are on pass lock lol.

and it's out of warranty so I just bought a cheap screen for 24$ hopefully by Friday-Saturday it will be good.

Anyone else had similar case?

I guess smartphones are replacing the traditional newspapers in these accidental toilet scenarios which is not costing .50 cents an issue.

Multitasking on the toilet is not good for the bowel. Consider dropping your phone in the toilet as "colonic karma."

Next time you buy a used phone on Ebay just think about how many times it was taken to the toilet and the potential germ count.

screen is working again but still will keep it in rice for anyone who is wondering 🙂

Reminds me of when a co-worker dropped his iPhone 5 in the porter john. He just left it there, said it was a Sprint phone anyway lol

Its reccommended that you remove all connectors on the iphone and clean them with 99% alcohol. There will be corrosion on the connectors.

Salvation swirly...😱

Why can't people stop saying their iPhone was dropped into the toilet ? That's in itself embarrassing. Why not just say it got wet ? Dropped in the sink or something. Heard so many of these on this forum over the past year or so 🙁
