My girlfriend dropped her 6 week old 4s into the toilet. Straight away i but it in a bag of rice and left it for 3 days. Now plugged it into charger battery screen came up to say needs charging. Charged it for few hours but when i press the home button its just blank. Yet i know its turned on as i can key in the passcode and hear the clicks of button pressing. It'll ring but no screen yet it the screen works when plugged in at first when it has a dead battery. Anyone have this and fixed it ? Gonna try restore it tomorrow too see if it helps.

any updates with fixing it or replacement?

yuck

I can't believe that some people would be willing to use a phone that was in a toilet. I don't care how well you clean it.....

Germ wise a phone is typically dirtier then a toilet (assuming the toilet is cleaned normally).

Remove the battery and clean the whole phone. Let it dry, use a blow dryer. Then try to open it again. If that didn't work, then you have to go for a replacement.

If she like me and accident prown and you do get it fixed or If you get her a replacement buy her a griffen serviour case off eBay cost 25 pound but protects your iPhone against being dropped and getting wet plus they are army tested n come in black and pink and I'd defo get some phone insurance hope you get it sorted
