I tiny bit of water splashed onto my iPhone 4s. The speaker on the bottom that plays all the sounds works, but is very very faint. The sound is a bit distorted, but nothing too bad. The sound is just very faint, like its on level 2/10, where its on level 10/10 volume wise.

This has happened once before and the speaker must have dried out because it was working great afterwords. Will the speaker dry up and work as normal again? Or is there something that I should do? The phone works without issues, its just the sound coming out of the bottom speaker when playing music, ringtones, and when the phone is on speakerphone. The regular speaker on the top of the phone is fine.

    Thanks for the help.

You can put a new speaker in it. A speaker assembly is about $10 on eBay.
