Hello,
I have recently come back to iOS after using Maemo (linux) and Droid. Droid is hell.

Now..
I have made a hello world and such. I am going to start to try a devel a simple game.

I plugged my iP4s into my computer and xcode popped up and said do I want to use this phone as a development phone.

What happens if I click "Yes"?

I want to use it, but what changed in the phone? Can it be used as normal or?

Can this be reverted?

I have not yet set up an Apple developer account (The $100 per year one).

It just enables the phone for development, you can still use it as a normal phone (i use my main 'regular use' iPhone as a dev device and have done for years).

As to what changes.. it might enable a few settings on the phone (there's stuff in there like power logging that I think you don't normally see, but they're turned off by default). There's no real downside to it.

Then again, I don't think you can use it as a dev phone until you've got a paid developer account, so maybe there's no point in doing it anyway?
