4th Gen not streaming

Hi everyone. My 4th Gen. Apple TV won't stream. It isn't my internet because my 3rd Gen. and all other devices stream fine.

When I attempt to stream a movie/tv show from any app it will start and between 3-5 minutes it will stop and lag for 5-10 minutes before starting again.

Force quitting the app doesn't work.

Rewinding doesn't work

I have done a hard reset and that helped for about 30 minutes.

I can play movies/videos that I have previously downloaded but cannot download new ones.

Any advice?

Download update tvOS 14.01 and reboot. Test the WiFi setup. Then check each app to see if you have the latest version.

Is there still a hard reset on Apple Tv's? like the paperclip reset?

No, it doesn't have that.

get the speed test app, make sure you're not having connection issues.

My aTV is on the back of a wall mounted TV, and I have issues depending on where the aTV is, Something in the TV disrupts the aTV if the 2 are touching. so try moving the aTV away from the TV, or to a different position that what it's in now.
