4th Gen Remote sticking

Having issues with my 4th gen remote and the trackpad button is now stuck so I cannot select anything within Apple TV. Anyone else have this issue and have a fix?

as in you physically can't feel it click?
or it's stuck down, and doesn't pop back up.

maybe a crumb or something got stuck?
try taking a pin, or something small and run it around the crack
