Ok. So I've tried searching around and I've found a few options but most products like the Griffin FireWave have been discontinued. So I'm looking for something that could convert my Logitech X-530's to my MacBook Pro. It uses the three cables (green, yellow, black). Considering these speakers aren't that great. I don't want to be spending hundreds on a converter. If it comes to that, I'll just purchase the Bose Companion 3 or something.

The mbp has optical digital out so an external sound card for your 3 analogue lines is your only option which may cost a bit. Sorry mate. 🙁

The alternative is to find some digital 5.1 speakers. That's not necessarily the cheapest option, either, but they do work well.
