I just cant get my home button to work. Is there anybody else facing the issue? I have a factory unlocked iPhone 4. The phone was fine just before the update and now after the update the home button just refuses to work!

Have you tried a reboot? If so I'd try a restore.

Everything is functioning like normal on this end.

If those suggestions don't work, try the home button recalibration method.

1) Open a stock apple application. ie one that comes with a factory fresh iPhone (weather, stocks, calendar, safari, etc.)

2) Hold the power button until the slide to power off slider comes up.

3) Now hold the home button for a couple seconds until the slider goes away and the iPhone returns to the homescreen.

4) Enjoy your more responsive, working home button!
