Never seen any Apple Watch update complete so quickly.
Anyone else notice?

It took about 80 minutes on my S3 from start to finish, including several pauses where the phone thought it was not on the wifi network even though it was.
I noticed it was very fast as well. So fast I wondered if it had actually updated....Never seen any Apple Watch update complete so quickly.

The phone Watch app refuses to budge off “resume when connected to WiFi”. Tried rebooting everything, strong WiFi signal blah blah.
I’m resigned to waiting until WatchOS 6 now, although I’d welcome suggestions.
I had the same issue. I just let it run and it finally updated after about 90+ minutes. It took some time but it completed.
I like the rumors the the next Apple Watch will be able to do updates without the phone!

[doublepost=1564291018][/doublepost]My series 2 kept trying to sync “verifying” forever. Reentered passcode on watch twice and then s2 did accept the update. Less notifications seem to be present though.Had opposite experience, heh.
Can’t even install it on my Hermes S4 having tried a few times. XS Max on latest iOS, plenty of space on Watch, everything on charger well beyond 50%.
