i tell you after the update is downloaded...within 52minutes.

Edit. When the actual installing process started on the watch itself - i didnt take much time. However the file size was 104MB - and im not sure if it was a typical file size for the update file.

It took about 80 minutes on my S3 from start to finish, including several pauses where the phone thought it was not on the wifi network even though it was.

I should have mentioned my watch is a S4. I put both the watch and iPhone on their wireless chargers and went to check on them about 20 minutes later the the updates we already completed.

I thought the same thing...both my S4 and my S3 updated much more quickly than in the past.

S4 updated in the time it took to shower and get dressed. Probably about 20 minutes also----

Had opposite experience, heh.

Can’t even install it on my Hermes S4 having tried a few times. XS Max on latest iOS, plenty of space on Watch, everything on charger well beyond 50%.

The phone Watch app refuses to budge off “resume when connected to WiFi”. Tried rebooting everything, strong WiFi signal blah blah.

I’m resigned to waiting until WatchOS 6 now, although I’d welcome suggestions.

I had the same issue. I just let it run and it finally updated after about 90+ minutes. It took some time but it completed.

Hey, I showed patience, left it and my phone on their chargers, deliberately forgot all about them. Went back just now and it worked!

Good, thought I might have to take the nuclear option of unpairing blah blah when OS6 arrives.

[doublepost=1564291018][/doublepost]My series 2 kept trying to sync “verifying” forever. Reentered passcode on watch twice and then s2 did accept the update. Less notifications seem to be present though.
