i got a feeling its because * supposedly * on report they were short on manpower and now it has picked up . so my best guess is its because of that so they can throw out more watches in day unlike the first quarter they were making. and yes i do hope they bump it more closer

Interesting to see all the "June" orders clumped to the week of June 22, then all the "July" orders literally the next week. Here's hoping they're just placeholders. Call me paranoid, but I'm starting to think they're halting online order production for the next few weeks to stock the stores. Went from a paranoid fear to a legitimate thought in my head pretty quickly after seeing this update.
I ordered mine on the 13th and it still hasn't been updated yet!

I'm happy to actually have a date! It's great to know we're talking BEGINNING of July, not late July.

Even if that's the case...if my local store gets the watch I want, I'm heading down to get it and canceling my online orders. Either way...we get the watches. (Unless you don't live close to one...then that would suck.) #

I ordered a 42mm SS BSB on 05/12 and it gave me a 06/23-07/08 ship date.
I then ordered 2 watches on 05/14 just to see which would get the quickest shipping date. I ordered 1 42mm SGS and 1 42mm SS WSB and both have ship dates of 06/25-07/10.
I want to believe that all people who received the generic July ship date are now getting the generic ship dates above

I ordered a 42 mm SS BSB on May 6th and live in Jacksonville,FL and my dates are June 23rd- July 8. I really get the feeling that the watches will get here before that time frame.

I would certainly cancel if I heard that my local store was getting them in. I don't mind waking up early to stand in line if it happens before my watch ships. Its been hard waiting but I'm not complaining. I know some people have been on this rollercoaster since April. I'm just doing my best to not cave in and buy the 38 mm because I know it's not what I truly want despite its faster shipping times.

I'm thinking the same thing. I certainly HOPE so! Apple HAS to be figuring out their supply chain constraints and times should shorten. Here's to hoping!
I ordered a 42mm Space Grey Sport on May 12th and got a July delivery window. My shipping status has also been updated to 5-7 weeks. I want it so bad # hopefully it comes early as a nice surprise.
Ordered my wife's 42mm Sport WSB on 5/13 and was updated this morning to
"Delivers: 25 Jun, 2015- - 10 Jul, 2015 by Standard Shipping"
I'd be willing to bet we get them by 2nd week of June.

I wonder what the difference is, or if the 42mm is just THAT much more popular. I ordered a 38SS BSB on Monday 5/11/15 4pm CST, and it got here Wed. 5/13/15 around 7:30 PM CST.
Fortunately I can get away with the 38mm until supply stabilizes [and so I can build up some cash to pick one up and give this one to my wife]

compare 6 and 6 plus.. lol 6 was more easy to find and plus was hard to find and fetch more money in secondary market.
Funny how you have to go back 16 years to find a launch wait time that was as bad as this one.

I ordered in the afternoon of 7 May, and now my order says 5 to 7 weeks, June 23 - July 8.
I realize this is still a while off, but to see movement at all is very good.
Years ago I became a Kickstarter for the Pebble Watch to hold me over until Apple came out with their watch. My Pebble has served me quite well, but I'm looking forward to the added functions of the
Watch. However, today I noticed that my Pebble has started to develop some dead pixels, so the sooner the Watch gets here the better. You might say it has become a race against time.

I just noticed roland.g's posting of his wait for his G4, I realize this isn't Apple, but when I preordered my Pebble on Kickstarter it was a year and nine days before I received it. A 5 to 7 week wait for my Silver Sport WSB watch is a walk in the park by comparison.
