5 channel surround sound through usb-c to hdmi adapter

Hello world,
Right now I am using Choetech usb c to hdmi cable (https://www.amazon.com/CHOETECH-Thunderbolt-Compatible-Macbook-ChromeBook/dp/B01LYS3Q5A) and it works great but it only transfers 2 channel stereo sound while I need 5 channels which is what I used to get with my old MBP through a regular hdmi cable. So now I am looking for a cable that works so is there anyone on this forum that has surround sound working through usb-c? If so, what cable do you use?

Your cable makes no mention of audio channels and even suggests it has audio issues it also only gives 4K @ 30hz. I think you just need a new cable. Amazon has lots of cables that specify sound support. I would get something like this with 7.1 support and 4K @60hz.
