I made the mistake of upgrading to 6.0.1 when it became available.

Now iTunes (v. 10.7.0.21) freezes when it syncs. Every time, after several hours it says "Step 5 of 5 Waiting for items to copy" and stops. What's worse, the only way to stop it is to unplug the computer (Windows 7 64-bit).

I've tried to restore with no luck.

Reboot your PC and turn the iPhone off then back on. Then try to sync again and see what happens.

    100% guaranteed:
1st try: unplug everything, restart computer, plug again
2nd try: uninstall itunes, uninstall iphone from device manager, unplug, restart, install itunes, plug in ipod, restore ipod as new, without backup
3rd try: delete your windows partition, install windows again, install itunes, plug ipod
4th try: delete windows, install windows, itunes, restore ipod
