5 Hour Layover in LA

If you could go anywhere and only had a few hours in LA, where would you go?

^^^ for five hours, I agree with this. It's close to LAX and a good way to kill a little time. Venice beach and the boardwalk is right there too.

Downtown El Segundo is a cute place to go and have some beers as well - it's just south of the airport. Just don't leave your wallet there.

manhattan beach, hermosa beach & marina del rey are also nearby

if it isn't beaches, piers, ocean and shopping that the OP wants, then the getty museum is more or less the same distance from the airport as santa monica

Personally I'd just chill at the airport bar and plan a real trip to LA for next time.
