no thanks mate dont worry about itjust happy to help but thanks for the offer
Well my offer still stands, I would be more than happy to send you the money.
I had this same issue when I was getting fancy with my phone and messed something up, I had to hard shut it down a few times before the endless loop stopped and went into safemode.
I've restarted many times w/no luck unfortunately.
I knew there was a way to manually uninstall from the command line: dpkg.
SSH as root, then list the installed packages with dpkg.
dpkg -l
Look for the package identifier of BytaFont. It should be com.ipr.bytafont.
Then uninstall with:
dpkg -r com.ipr.bytafont
Restart the iPhone.
My problem is I can't SSH in, which is also preventing me from changing permissions for the new Fonts folder I pasted onto my phone.
Am I correct in thinking that I'd have to fix the permissions of the Fonts folder or at least the files inside of it, or is that not the case?
Is it possible to find out what my phone's IP address is without going into the WiFi settings on the actual phone?
Side note: as a second shot, I'm jailbreaking my brother's iPhone 4s and grabbing his Fonts folder to see if it fixes my issue. If the permissions thing is not an issue, maybe it'll work better since it will be 100% unmodified.
