Hi, I have a first generation Core 2 Duo macbook. I need to upgrade the hard-drive and plan on buying and installing this one:

I want to make sure that this hard-drive will work.

As I understand since it is SATA it will work fine, and there is no reason it wouldn't work because of its size, correct?

Thanks a lot. I just want to be sure.

500GB will work fine. I only hope we will be seeing larger drive numbers in the coming months. I believe there is some manufacture releasing a 640GB or 750GB drive soon. I don't remember were I read the story. Anyways, good luck!
