Hi, i am going to be upgrading HD. I was wondering which one i should get. I am looking at the Seagate Momentus 320. Which RPM would you guys suggest or what are some pros and cons of either?
Thanks
Would the 7200 use more battery life and be more noisy?

If you want speed, go 7200rpm. However, this type of drive may heat a little more making your fans run a bit more. However the MacBook's new fans run almost dead silent. Since both drives have the same storage capacity just go with what speed you need.

Just an extra little info, current MacBook drives at 5400rpm barely make any noise. So, see the reviews on the drive you wish to buy to see how it compares in quietness

Edit - Speed wise, you won't notice a drastic change going 7200rpm, only subtle changes here and there.

Get the Seagate 7200.3 320GB it uses very little power.

If you want to go for 5400rpm I don't recommend the Seagate 5400.5 because of slow acces times.
