Soft Drives...

How about a soft drive? Non-volatile memory. I think they can do a10GB chip of RAM easily and it will still be smaller than a 1.8" hard drive and no moving parts. Maybe some day.:rolleyes:
 
Dude, you're getting a lot of music!

That's almost 7 months of continuous music, never repeating a song! If you listened only 12 hours a day you would never hear the same song repeat for over a year... :D ;) :rolleyes:

Soon we'll be talking about iPods that hold more music than one could listen to in his whole lifetime playing continuously from birth... Now, that's insane.

Welcome to the posts! :D

Do you have any idea how much even 1GB of RAM costs for a Hard Drive? Somewhere around $1000. I can't imagine how much 10GB would cost right now, I am guessing around $100000 or so.

But, hey, once the price comes down to around $500 I would be all for it. :cool:
