5770 in 1,1 2006 2.0ghz Mac Pro

Just watched an unboxing of the XFX ATI 5770 on youtube and man is this thing huge compared to my x1900. Will this even fit in my case? I planned on buying an XFX brand one off ebay for about 100$.

Ha, so if I got a dual slot card it should fit fine? It only has one 6 pin connector and my 1900 has one in it so I shouldn't need an extra.

If nothing else is in the PCI slots it will fit fine and only needs 1x6-pin for power. If you have other cards use spatial relations to get it to fit. 🙂

Thanks! I was thinking of keeping the x1900 in for boot menu but I have dual monitors and the 2nd doesn't show up during start up so it isn't a huge problem
