Hi all. Been researching ad nauseum...will be purchasing an Apple LED display soon. My current desktop is 8-core Mac Pro (3,1) with 10G RAM. The original graphics card (ATI Radeon HD 2600) is just not cutting it with my FCP Studio.
Instead of upgrading my Mac I want to speed things up with a fast graphics card. Price is not a big consideration, I'm happy to say. Want something that
will respond quickly to editing updates in FCP and Motion. Energy consumption is a consideration, and sound, but mostly I want speed!

with multi-layer editing/viewing, etc. Not really.
