Hello! I ordered a 60 gig 5g black ipod video. I have never had a problem with it, but today it just WON"T TURN OFF! I have tried holding the play button. I have tried manually resetting it. It still plays music and video, it just won't turn off so the battery just keeps draining. Is anyone having this problem? I have an applecare protection plan and called but waited on the phone for a long time and never got anyone. Anyone have any advice?

Let the battery die, that will turn it off. Maybe when you charge it up and restart it the problem will go away. If not, call Apple.

I've had the problem with my nano. It seems lately after having its been plugged into my computer it won't turn off unless I start playing a song then go back to the main menu and select sleep. Selecting sleep to begin with won't do anything and holding play won't do anything. I've tried resetting it by holding the centre button and menu as well to no avail.

Has anyone else had the problem?
