For those with 500mb+ connections, what’s the latency like? I just can’t imagine needing WiFi if I get those speeds at my house. I mean I pay $70 a month for 100mb connection and still $55 a month for my 4G iPhone 11 service. Sounds like 5G could simply life into one cheaper bill.

10 ms or less.

just curious. trying to find what the benefit of paying for home internet will be when i get back to the states and switch to 5g. if the speeds are faster, and the latency is low then i see no downfall.

Oh that is my hard fiber line of 1 Gbps download and 1 Gbps upload.

Sorry.

I was with AT&T for 25 years, and I switched to T-Mobile in January 2021 because AT&T 5G speeds in Dallas/Fort Worth were no better than LTE, and they were more expensive than Tmobile. My Tmobile service and 5G speed has been terrific.

My average speeds on AT&T were around 30mbs. This is typical of what I get from T-Mobile.

Coverage is dependent on the areas where you use it. Every carrier has its weak spots. As far as speed, I live in a T-Mobile 5G Ultra Capacity area and see speeds reach 700mbps down.
