5k iMac

So i recently sold my rMBP 15" maxed out 2014 edition and brought a 5k iMac 27" maxed out apart from ram. i have since added 16GB to it.

This machine is a dream and runs games perfectly without generating much heat. the rMBP would sound like it was taking off on the game menu screen lol

Which GPU do you have? M290X or M295X? Do you have a total of 24GB ram now? (that's what I did to mine)

I've recently compared the 5k iMac with the "regular" 27" iMac in the Apple Store. The sharpness and detail is truly amazing. For instance the dock icons look blurred and jaggy on the normal iMac.

What games are you playing? - I'm contemplating buying a iMac 5k, I am a casual gamer - and I am a Graphic Designer. So the iMac 5k is basically a dream machine.

Don't think you bought the maxed out. Sounds like the stock model.

I agree with you when I bought my 5K Retina. You can tell the difference side by side.
