5k monitor volume level

does any of you have the same problem, the volume level 1 and 2 are so different... at level 1 I can barely hear anything, but at volume 2, it'll be way too loud...

Yep. I just ordered Audioengine 2+ speakers based on recommendations on these forums, to get around the crap audio and dodgy volume details.

Yep... same here. Hold down the shift and option keys together then make your volume adjustments and it will move in 1/4 increments. I have mine at 1.5.

I have the same issue, from 0-2 is perfect sound levels, from 2 onwards it's deafeningly loud. I also just spent 10 minutes trying to get life out of my laptop whilst the display was connected. I fear I will be returning the screen!
