5mm space below Top Case (part between mouse and spacebar)

Hi, the part between the space bar and the top of the mouse, I think it is part of the top case is not flush and there is about a 5 millimeter space below. Anyone know how to make it go down? I had a graphic card exchange some months ago so don't know if that is the reason why it doesnt rest flat against the frame below. However sometimes my keyboard times out and I guess it could be the fact that when I use the mouse it goes up and down and pulls out the cord located below (the keyboard ribbon cable located behind the battery). I guess I can use glue and just stick it down, however any advice would be appreciated.
