Finally was able to leave the office and pick up 10.6 from 5th Ave. Just got it installed. Seems snappier. 😉

Got my copy of SL just a while ago from 5th Ave store. Installing now, 27 min remaining. What's weird is I never chose an install type.

I would suggest to all to just copy the image onto a USB if you are buying the family pack, having it on a USB flash drive or even a firewire 800 makes it super fast, can get down to the 15 min mark or less.

those who mention camping out ... there is no need if the store is always open. Sounds and looks like it wasn't a huge deal this time though.
