5th gen Airport extreme ?

Just picked up a brand new AEBS from best buy today 5th gen my question is should I install the airport utility software on my desktop pc or my MacBook pro.
Desktop PC windows 7 is hardwired to the current router does it matter where I install the software. Thanks in advance new to the Macs.

Airport Utility should come pre-installed on your Mac. If it isn't, it really doesn't matter. Install it on both if you want.
