I have a 5th gen iPod video that has served well for years, in spite of some abuse. The battery life was terrible, so about a year ago, I bought a new battery from OWC and installed it. Things seemed to be better for a while, but now the battery life may be worse than before. A couple of days ago, it couldn't even make it through a 40 minute video podcast when the battery was showing fully charged. Has anyone else had a similar experience with the OWC batteries? I would think they would still be good after 1 year. Is it the battery, or could something else be causing the problem? I did just buy a 160GB Classic from a co-worker (Overkill for me, but he gave me a great deal), so I do have backup. I just want to find out what's wrong with this one. From my research, the 5/5.5 gen seems to be the last gen that was really hackable and has the best sound quality, so I would like to keep it around.
