iPod touch 5th gen iPod touch with new alarm clock

Hey there, I went about 5 pages in the iPod forum and didn't see my issue discussed. So I thought I would ask my question.

I have an iPod touch 5.3 plugged into an old iHome alarm clock (very old since I have to use a 30-pin to lightning adapter). I would like to get a new iHome alarm clock and use my iPod with it, but I don't know if I can use the wireless charging pad with my iPod.

I've searched Apple support and communities and found no help there. So I hope I can find an answer with you fine folk. Thanks to you all in advance.

What iHome alarm clock are you looking to buy?

The iPod touch does not have wireless charging using a Qi wireless charger, so a wireless charger option will not work with your iPod.
