I bought a new, sealed ipod nano 5th gen, and charged it all the way up. However, when I take it off the charger, the battery drains to about half in no time, and at least one "block" worth right away before my eyes. Anyone else experience this ever and have some advice, or am I going to have to send it in for repair/return for my money back?

yeah, then charge it all the way and see how long it takes to die

Ok I'll try that. How unfortunate. :/ Should I bother doing a backup/restore first? The weird thing is, my old nano the battery was used up. It charged quickly, and died quickly. This one charges slowly and dies fast. Go figure. ..
