Not sure what benchmarks you folks are using to determine whether the battery is doing well or not, so here's mine.

How's my battery doing?

is the iTunes update not incremental?

Hi,

Cannot do an OTA and iTunes wants to download the full IPW @ around 982mb......is that correct?

What sort of settings do you have on? What was the used to get usage up to 7 hours?

Holy ******! How did you manage such phenomenal standby? Do you have push email on? Also do you leave wifi on and lte/3g on too (with data turned on)?

This is phenomenal battery life. Mine is currently at this... Been at home on wifi for 95%. 3G and mobile data are on. The usage has been twitter, texting and imessaging all on wifi. Also received a few push notifications from tapatalk and gmail, as well as iMessage, twitter and Facebook.

Used on 3G with wifi left on at the shops for about 10 min usage and just over 1 hour standby.

I have push on for two gmail accounts and I leave Wifi and LTE on at all times.

Talking about the wifi... Thought 6.0.2 was working ok apart from the incorrect display.... Well tonight went to a bar, used their wifi a bit. All ok. Got home and reconnected to my home router: nothing. Had to reboot iPhone to make it work again. Therefore 6.0.2 hasn't fixed anything really for me....

I leave wifi on full time. Screen brightness to about 60%.

Useage is 40% music/podcasts, the rest is mix of games, browsing, etc. I also don't pull the phone the minute it hits 100% on the charger. I leave it an extra hour. Many times it's not actually at 100%, that is why I leave it a bit longer.

That is really impressive, the standby is I mean! I get about 6-7 hours use (no music just background stuff that the phone does and texts + a bit of email) with wifi/data/3g on and get about 26 hours standby.

Really impressed at all of these some people have posted. I am now OCD that mine is not doing enough :p

It's probably been said already, but I was browsing on my iPad mini a few minutes ago(I paused to write this), and I noticed that the status bar has vanished in Safari, giving a little bit more screen space to the browser window.
I'm sure(kinda) that it was there before 6.0.2.

Edit:// it must've been a glitch. I closed Safari, re launched it, and the status bar is back. :/

Are you sure you didn't edit the photo
The times are supposed to be right aligned on the screen which means the last letter of those text 's' should be exactly below each other ... However, in the screenshot the standby one is slightly more to the right than the usage one ...

Hmmmmmm

I don't think 6.0.2 fixed WiFi at all!!! If you disconnect from router "A" and try to reconnect to router "A" later, you have to turn WiFi off-and-on again.

But if you disconnect from router "A" and try to connect to router "B", it works. Also if then reconnect to router "A" it also works. But if you try to reconnect to the router you previously disconnected to (e.g., leaving the WiFi coverage space and returning it later without intervening connection to another router), it does NOT work. The WiFi bar shows it is connected, but it is a rouse. There is no connection.

Idiots at Apple haven't figured out *****.

Did you get a brand new tinfoil hat for Christmas? Congratulations!

I find it funny that you turned off everything but left out the most power-hungry aspect of the iPhone. :p

So basically you turned off the phone?

Yeah, I couldn't do this. No push notifications? Not even email?

Wow. None of this happens to me. My only complaint is data leakage.

no it doesnt?

they boast like what 225 hours of standby... its more than normal for it not to drop % for a few hours of standby

That is correct. It should drop .44% per hour if ONLY standby. (100%/225=.44) Of course the meter is whole numbers and is never exact but should be close. So after 3 hours it drops 1.3% so could definitely show 100% for a few hours and only drop to 99% after 3 hrs according to their posted specs.
