Anyone else feel like Goldie Locks, except nothing feels just right???

Coming from the X, it was always just a tad big for me. As much as I want a pro, I just can’t go any bigger. Looking at pictures of the mini, it looks like a childs toy.....

Anyone else feel similar?

I would have preferred it if apple had utilised the benefits of the smaller bezels to create a smaller footprint for a 5.8” screen. So yes, I agree with you. Luckily the size differential is pretty small despite getting a 6.1 screen but overall I am with you.

I feel the opposite. Last year 5.8 was too small and 6.5 was too big. The 6.1 was just right but it had a crappy screen. I ended up getting a iphone 8 plus instead, soon to upgrade to a 6.1 12 pro.

Your iPhone X’s dimensions are:
  • Height: 5.65 inches (143.6 mm)
  • Width: 2.79 inches (70.9 mm)
  • Depth: 0.30 inch (7.7 mm)
  • Weight: 6.14 ounces (174 grams)

The iPhone 12 Pro’s dimensions are:
  • Height: 5.78 inches (146.7 mm)
  • Width: 2.82 inches (71.5 mm)
  • Depth: 0.29 inch (7.4 mm)
  • Weight: 6.65 ounces (189 grams)
The 12 Pro’s width — where most of us are concerned in regards to size — is only half a millimeter thicker than your iPhone X.

For perspective, a U.S dime is 1.35 mm in thickness. The additional thickness on the 12 Pro is roughly a third of a dime. This difference would be imperceivable in your hand.

The 6.1 was “just right” but had a ”crappy screen”, yet the 8 plus was better with a 5.5” version of the same crappy screen with huge bezels?

I feel you. I did go from X to XS, 11 Pro but I could not stand for my Pro to be 1mm bigger.

For me, personally, I would go 12 Pro, 12 Mini, 12, 12 Pro Max. Camera improvements competing against nicer size.

Like the post above said, iPhone 8 Plus have a 1080p screen, it’s way better than the 11/XR 720p. My eyes will be on the screen so I prefer an quality screen, even though it’s generations down. Bezels are fine with me.

Wow, the 11 had a 720p? I never looked back when the OLED panels shipped, that is crappy, good point.
